In a statement on Tuesday, the spokesman denounced a south Korean court for sentencing to heavy penalties the vice-chairman and the secretary general of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification. The statement called the judgment an intolerable challenge against the Korean nation's desire for reunification.

It urged the puppet regime to abrogate the notorious "Security Law" at once and release all the pro-reunification patriotic people.

It voiced expectation that south Korean organizations and people of different social standings will terminate the fascist tyranny and turn out in a dynamic nation-wide action to wipe out the anti-reunification forces.

All the members of the Zhongnan Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China will wage a dynamic action to implement the north-south joint declarations, it noted.
