Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize was awarded to 23 primary youth league committees and 65 officials and members of youth league. They built youth league organizations into the ranks of Songun young vanguard, performed feats in defending the country and building a thriving socialist nation and set an example in study and organizational life.

Kim Jong Il Children Honor Prize went to 215 members of the children's union who set an example in study and organizational, socio-political activities and the do-good-thing campaign.
