Meanwhile, the puppet forces staged naval maneuvers for "detecting and chasing ballistic missiles, conducting anti-ship shelling and searching for and tracking submarines" from Feb. 6 to 12 in the East Sea of Korea with Aegis ships belonging to the 7th mobile flotilla of their navy involved.

Rodong Sinmun Friday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

The above-said saber-rattling clearly reveals an adventurous scenario of the U.S. and the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors to drive the tension prevailing on the Korean Peninsula into the phase of a war against the DPRK at any cost.

It is quite natural for the DPRK to take powerful physical counter-measures now that its sovereignty has been wantonly violated by the high-handed provocations of the hostile forces.

The third underground nuclear test conducted by the DPRK was a just step for self-defence for protecting its security and sovereignty from the vicious moves of the hostile forces including the U.S. to isolate and stifle it.

The U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces should properly understand the DPRK. It is not such a weak country that would yield to any "sanctions" and military threat.
