The performance began with prologue "We Make Lunar New Year's Bow to Marshal Kim Jong Un".

Put on the stage were fairy tale "New Year's Performance in Country Shining like Star", violin concert for sohaegum (small Korean fiddle) "May Snow Fall on Lunar New Year's Day", trio and chorus "We Are Happy under Care of Marshal Kim Il Sung", true story-telling "Thank You, Marshal Kim Jong Un", music and dance of Korean schoolchildren in Japan "My Country Led by Marshal Is Best" and other colorful numbers.

The performers presented beautiful songs and dances in reflection of all schoolchildren's feelings holding in high esteem the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as eternal sun and their profound thanks to the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The performance vividly showed the features of the younger generation growing to be reliable reserve forces of the Songun revolution, knowledgeable, moral and healthy.

Among the audience were officials of party, armed forces and power organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces and people and school youth and children in Pyongyang.
