They included meetings, round-table talks, book and photo exhibitions and film shows in Hong Kong, China, Romania, Cambodia, Singapore, Mongolia and Ethiopia between Feb. 1 and 7.

On display in the venues of the events were photos on revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Their works, books and photos introducing Songun Korea were also on display.

Korean films shown included "Arms of Korea".

The vice president of the Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il Fund in a speech lauded Kim Jong Il as a great man who made great contributions to the cause of building a thriving socialist nation in the DPRK and the cause of global independence.

The chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania said thanks to the energetic ideological and theoretical activities and wise leadership of Kim Jong Il the DPRK is shedding its rays as a beacon of hope for the world progressives.

The Korean people are dynamically stepping up the building of a thriving socialist nation under the leadership of HE Kim Jong Un, faithful successor to the idea and cause of the preceding leaders, he noted.

The manager of the Ram Seng Hang Private Co. Ltd. of Singapore said:

Kim Jong Il was a prominent leader and a peerless statesman. I am sure that his ideal and desire will surely come true under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The chairperson of the Addis Ababa Youth Association of Ethiopia praised Kim Jong Il for consolidating the single-minded unity of the whole society in the DPRK as firm as a rock and putting its military capability on the highest level under the banner of Songun.

A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event held in Mongolia.
