The bulletin carried the full text of the New Year Address of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un illustrated with a photo of him making the address.

It edited the full text of the speech made by him at the banquet given for the scientists, technicians, workers and officials who contributed to successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 and introduced in detail the account of the banquet.

Also conveyed by it was the news that the title of the DPRK hero was awarded to the contributors to the satellite launch.

It gave an account of the opening of the Fourth Conference of Cell Secretaries of the Workers' Party of Korea.

It carried a memorandum issued by the DPRK Foreign Ministry calling for dismantling the "UN Command" in south Korea in order to defend the peace and security in the Korean Peninsula and the Asia-Pacific region.
