Kim Jong Il Always Finds Himself among People
Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- People in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea consider the pictures they had taken with leader Kim Jong Il to be family treasures.

Kim Jong Il in his lifetime ceaselessly visited military posts, factories, farms and dwelling houses throughout the country regardless of weather conditions. In the course he posed for photos with many people of different social strata.

Among them were a soldier who was standing guard on the windy Chol Pass and soldier-builders in the project for the Mujigae Tunnel.

One day Kim Jong Il came to know the fact that two soldiers on mess duty were missed in a photo session during his inspection tour of the dwarf pine post. So, he posed for a photo with them later to gratify their desire.

In early May Juche 87 (1998) when he went to a frontline military unit, he instructed general officers accompanying him to perform routine duty in place of soldiers so that he could have a photo session with all of the unit's soldiers.

It is a well-known fact that he posed for pictures with a servicewoman with a persimmon in her hand, triplet-soldiers and brother-and-sister twin soldiers, during his inspection tours of military units, and with families of servicepersons and couples of discharged soldiers.

Those photos vividly show close relations between the leader and the people.
