Foreign Guests, Overseas Koreans Pay Tribute to Kim Jong Il

| Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- Diplomatic envoys of different countries, representatives of international organizations and the military attaches corps here, the delegation of Koreans in Japan headed by Pae Jin Gu, vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star, a delegation of the General Association of Koreans in China headed by its Vice-Chairman Choe Su Bong, and other foreign guests and overseas Koreans visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on Saturday, the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) and paid tribute to him. They paid high respects for the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. They entered the hall of immortality where Kim Jong Il lies in state and made a bow to him. They went round the hall where orders he received are on display and the halls which house a car, electric car, boat and train coach used by him. Foreign guests and overseas Koreans made entries in the visitor's book. |
