Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- Pakistani and French public organizations released statements in support of the 3rd underground nuclear test in the DPRK on Feb. 12. The Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association sent the most sincere congratulations to the heroic DPRK people on their success in the 3rd underground nuclear test that demonstrated the dignity and might of Songun Korea. The Association said it regards the nuclear test as an event of great significance which makes it possible for the DPRK to protect its high interests and dignity from the preemptive attack, threats, sanctions and pressure by the U.S. under the serious situation blamed on the U.S. and its followers. The nuclear test encourages all the DPRK army and people in their efforts to build a thriving nation under the banner of Songun and safeguards the sovereignty of the DPRK and the peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula as well, the Association said in a statement. It expressed belief that the DPRK people would win a final victory under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, upholding the banner of Songun. The France-Korea Friendship Association said: The U.S. and the West claim that the nuclear test in the DPRK is in violation of the UN Security Council's "resolution", and a challenge. We support the DPRK that has carried out the nuclear test to defend the dignity and sovereignty to cope with the U.S. and other hostile forces trying hard to stifle it. We call upon the progressive and peace-loving forces across the world to be greatly concerned about the peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula. Dialogue and negotiations are the only way for averting war and guaranteeing the lasting peace and stability. We will conduct wide-ranging solidarity activities including the worldwide signature campaign for the conclusion of a peace treaty on the Korean Peninsula in support of the Koreans' just cause. |
