Present there were Chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) Ho Jong Man, Vice-Chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee Nam Sung U, Vice-Chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently Chairman of the National Rights Committee Pae Ik Ju, Vice-Chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee Ko Tok U, Vice-Chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently Chairman of its Rights and Welfare Committee Pak Ku Ho and Chairman of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon Hong In Hum. Advisors, department directors, vice-chairmen of committees of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, the permanent advisor and the director of the Research Institute on History of Korean Residents in Japan, leading officials of Chongryon organizations and enterprises in Tokyo, chairmen of Chongryon headquarters and Chongryon officials and compatriots in Kanto area, teacher

s and students of Joson University also attended.

Ho Jong Man in his report said that Generalissimo Kim Jong Il was an outstanding leader of Chongryon and a tender-hearted father who ushered in the era of happiness for Koreans in Japan as well as the bright future for the rising generations.

Kim Jong Il, who always took warm care of Chongryon, led it and clearly indicated the way to be followed by the movement of Koreans in Japan, Ho noted, and went on:

To hold him in high esteem as the eternal sun will provide the ideological mainstay to Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan just as the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un mentioned in his New Year address, and it is the strong sense of moral obligation they can not go back on no matter how much water may flow under the bridge and how many generations are replaced with another.

Though he was busy with leading the Juche cause, Kim Jong Un has shown all benevolence for Chongryon and Koreans in Japan just as Kim Jong Il did.

However grim the situation may be and however desperately the reactionaries at home and abroad may try, we will deepen the faith in Juche and consolidate the single-minded unity of the ranks as firm as a rock and thus defend Kim Jong Un and further strengthen Chongryon into the world level overseas Koreans organization remaining loyal to his leadership.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was read out at the meeting.
