Vice-Chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan Pae Jin Gu and his delegation of Koreans in Japan for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star and other overseas compatriots and the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front watched the performance.

The performance, which started with instrumental music and song "We Offer Glory to General", included solo dance and sohaegum (small Korean fiddle) solo "My Favorite Flower", male solo "Keeping His Instructions in Mind" and so on.

The performers sang of the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il, who was born as a bright star over Mt. Paektu and made devotion to the country and people throughout his life, and showed their ardent longings for him.

Jangsaenap solo "Hoeyang Nilliri", mixed chorus "Ongheya", narration and other numbers greatly excited the audience.

They sang of the epochal changes taking place one after another on the homeland which are attributable to the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un. The performance left deep impression on the audience.
