Overseas Compatriots Visit Mangyongdae

| Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- Choe Ryong Ho, vice-president of Yanbian University of Science and Technology of China, and Ri Yong Ho, managing director of Dandong Shengmin Trading Co. Ltd., China, and their parties visited Mangyongdae, birthplace of President Kim Il Sung. They are taking part in the 17th Kimjongilia Festival. They went round historic relics, being briefed on the glorious revolutionary history of Kim Il Sung and his family members in Mangyongdae. Choe Ryong Ho said that Mangyongdae is the native home dear to the heart of the Koreans. Visit to Mangyongdae made me strongly miss Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, he said, adding: The great Generalissimo devoted all his life to the prosperity of the country and people's happiness. The overseas Koreans also visited the National Gifts Exhibition House, Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace, Rungna Dolphinarium, People's Open-air Ice Rink, etc. |
