U.S. Urged to Stop "Sanctions" Racket against DPRK: S. Korean Organization
Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea on Feb. 14 made public a statement urging the U.S. to stop at once the "sanctions" racket against the DPRK.

The statement said that the situation of the Korean Peninsula has reached the brink of a war owing to the U.S. heinous racket for "sanctions" against the DPRK.

Several countries launched satellites this year, but the U.S. subjected the DPRK only to "sanctions", it said, adding that the U.S. can not get any understanding from any south Korean.

It went on:

The U.S. behavior can not but be interpreted as the moves to tide over the crisis by igniting a war on the Korean Peninsula.

The situation will get more serious if the U.S. does not drop the hostile policy towards the north, the statement warned.

It called upon all the people desirous of peace, national reconciliation and cooperation to turn out in an action against the U.S. ferocious racket of "sanctions" and war moves.
