The Brazilian Center for the Study of the Juche Idea posted on its website an article titled "Kim Jong Il, leader of people" on Feb. 7 illustrated with the portrait of the smiling leader.

Love for the people constitutes the core of his personality, said the article, adding:

He loved the people so much that he pursued an unprecedented benevolent politics.

It was his outlook on life to serve the people and dedicate himself to them.

How ardently he loved the people can be explained by the fact that he made ceaseless journeys for field guidance, said the article, referring in detail to his forced march for field guidance.

The Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism posted the following article on its website on Feb. 8:

Kim Jong Il was an outstanding thinker and theoretician who provided an ideological and theoretical foundation for the Korean revolution and the world revolution by developing and enriching the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung, and an ever-victorious brilliant Songun commander who defended socialism with his unique Songun politics, meeting the challenges of the imperialist allied forces.

The exploits he performed by developing the Workers' Party of Korea into a force leading the socialist revolution and construction to victory and the Korean People's Army into invincible revolutionary armed forces will last forever along with the human history.

The Swiss preparatory committee for commemorating the Day of the Shining Star on Feb. 3 posted on its website an article titled "DPRK has emerged space power thanks to Comrade Kim Jong Il's patriotic devotion".
