It was a very just countermeasure for self-defence taken by the DPRK, a sovereign state, to cope with the U.S. and its allies' moves to isolate and stifle it, the statement said.

It also fully demonstrated the tremendous national power of Songun Korea and the indomitable will of the Korean people to settle accounts with the U.S. with arms to the end, the statement noted, urging the U.S. and its allies to stop acting rashly, clearly seeing the pent-up grievance and resentment of the Korean people.

The confederation expresses full support and solidarity for the people in the homeland in their just struggle to defend the sovereignty and peace of the country despite the moves of the U.S. imperialists to stifle the DPRK, the statement stressed.
