Present there were personages of the preparatory committee of Democratic Congo for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star, Communist Party, Workers' Party, People's Rally for Socialism, Working Citizens' Association, National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Democratic Congo and Democratic Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association, Socialist Party, National Committee for Celebrating the 71st Birth Anniversary of General Kim Jong Il, National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and the Cotonou Institute of Journalism of Benin and the National Women's Union of Mexico and masses.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Democratic Congo Boswa Isekombe Sylvere in his speech said the world progressives extend highest respects to Kim Jong Il.

The general secretary noted he is the sun as he successfully carried forward the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered by President Kim Il Sung and clearly indicated the road to be followed by the progressive people.

He devoted his all to the people's happiness and the peaceful reunification of Korea by the concerted efforts of the Korean nation, said the general secretary, adding:

He will always be in the hearts of humankind for his immortal contributions to the times and history.

President of the Socialist Party of Benin Ali Houdou praised Kim Jong Il for developing the Workers' Party of Korea into an experienced, seasoned and ever-victorious party.

Hessou Kohovi, chairman of the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said ardent love for the people constitutes the personality of Kim Jong Il, adding that as he regarded the people as the heaven he could enforce the unprecedented benevolent politics.

Messages to the dear respected Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings.
