DPRK Demonstrates Its High Level of Scientific, Technological Development: Ukrainian Organizations

| Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- Ukrainian organizations made public a joint statement on Feb. 12 hailing the DPRK's successful third underground nuclear test. They included the Dnepropetrovsk Branch of the "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Soviet Officers' Union and the Sovetski Tsentr. Through the recent successful nuclear test the DPRK once again demonstrated to the world its high level of scientific and technological development and achievements made in socialist construction, the statement said. It bitterly condemned the U.S. and its followers, criminals who shipped nuclear weapons into the Korean Peninsula and spawned the nuclear issue, for their hypercritical acts. It said: It is their trite method to pick a quarrel with independent states over their legitimate right. To denuclearize the U.S. and other powers is prerequisite for global peace and security. The statement extended support and solidarity to the heroic Korean people in their just cause. |
