Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- Scientists, technicians, workers, soldier-builders and officials who contributed to the DPRK's successful 3rd underground nuclear test arrived here on Wednesday. Pyongyang citizens turned out to accord hearty welcome to them along the route with bouquets in their hands. Seen in streets are slogan-boards and posters warmly congratulating the successful nuclear test and calling for full play to the national strength. U Song Sil, a 76-year-old woman living in Tongdaewon District, told KCNA that she was very glad to see them who contributed to displaying the might of the country. Rim Kwang Ung, a 43-year-old man living in Central District, said: "I was very excited at the news about the successful nuclear test. Today my family came here to welcome them who demonstrated the mightiness of the DPRK, which does what it is determined to do." O Il Sok, a 38-year-old man living in Taedonggang District, said: "I warmly congratulate those contributors, who displayed the invincible dignity and inexhaustible potentials of the great Paektusan nation. The recent nuclear test, successfully conducted despite the escalating pressure of the imperialist allied forces, is evoking admiration from among the world's progressives. The final victory is in store for the DPRK as it boasts of the single-minded unity, Juche-based scientific and technological foundations and the invincible army. The U.S. and its followers should be mindful that it is a disposition of the DPRK to counter any provocation with prompt counterstrike and any aggression with a war of justice for national reunification." |
