The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said this in a joint statement on Feb. 14.

The statement said:

Kim Jong Il developed the Korean People's Army founded by Generalissimo Kim Il Sung into invincible armed forces and honorably defended the sovereignty and socialism of the DPRK with his Songun revolutionary leadership.

Kim Jong Il made great contributions to peace and security of the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world.

With his Songun leadership, he turned the DPRK into a socialist power possessed of nuclear deterrence and led to victory the showdown with the U.S., performing great exploits for the Korean revolution and the world revolution.

We are significantly greeting the first anniversary of the conferment of the title of Generalissimo to Kim Jong Il, who devoted his whole life to accomplishing the Songun revolutionary cause.
