Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- Scientists, technicians, workers and officials in the field of national defence science and solider-builders who successfully carried out the third underground nuclear test visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung, on Friday. They laid bouquets before the graves of Kim Po Hyon and Ri Po Ik, the President's grandparents, and Kim Hyong Jik and Kang Pan Sok, his parents, before paying silent tribute to them. Then they visited the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum where they saw historic data and relics on the noble career of Kim Il Sung, who gave a new origin to Juche Korea and devoted all his life to the country and its people and on his family members in Mangyongdae, patriotic and revolutionary generation after generation. They also looked round historic relics preserved with care in the yard of his old home in Mangyongdae. |
