They were a gathering in Peru, seminar in India and reading session in Guinea that took place on Feb. 11 and 13.

Displayed in the venue of the seminar were photos showing the revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Il.

Tani Baler Lopera, international secretary of the Communist Party of Peru "Red Motherland", in his speech said Kim Jong Il devoted his whole life to the Korean revolution, the cause of global independence and the people's happiness and prosperity.

He strictly observed the principle of Juche in ideology, independence in politics, self-support in the economy and self-reliance in national defense, true to the intention of President Kim Il Sung, said Lopera, adding:

Kim Jong Il developed the Workers' Party of Korea into an ever-victorious guiding force and the Korean People's Army into an invincible one.

The great exploits he performed for the cause of socialism and global independence will last forever.

Aleasar Ramos Roarte, chairman of the Peruvian Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, Roberto Carbonel Peso, chairman of the Peru-Korea Friendship Institute for the Study of the Juche Based Songun Policy, and Yuri Castro Romero, secretary general of the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship, praised Kim Jong Il as a prominent thinker and theoretician and the sun of the 21st century.

S.P. Pathak, chairman of the Indian Society for the Study of Works of Kim Jong Il, said he was a tender-hearted father of the people who loved them so much and devoted his all to their happiness.

His politics of love for the people has been fully embodied by the dear respected Kim Jong Un, the chairman added.
