U.S., S. Korean Warmongers' North-targeted War Maneuvers Assailed by S. Korean Organization

Pyongyang, February 23 (KCNA) -- The Korea Solidarity for Independent Reunification and Democracy in south Korea held a rally outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul on Feb. 20 at which it denounced the U.S. and puppet warmongers for their dangerous war maneuvers against the DPRK.

A statement was read out at the rally. It urged the authorities to stop actions against the north, including the war maneuvers being staged against it in league with the U.S.

If the U.S. persists in the hostile policy toward the DPRK, it will not stop strong countermeasures, the statement said, demanding the U.S. lift the unreasonable "sanctions" and stop the war maneuvers.

It called upon all patriotic and democratic forces to turn out in the struggle against the U.S. and warmongers' war maneuvers against the north in order to remove the danger of war from the Korean Peninsula at an early date.
