On Feb. 21 the Seoul Central District Court prosecuted without restraint four teachers belonging to the union on charges of the violation of "Security Law".

The fascist prosecution charged that they formed the "enemy-benefiting organization" called the "education movement in the new era" in January 2008 and carried out "organized activities to favor the north" and "disguised its activities as those of legitimate organization to avoid the law."

It even described their activities for studying the Juche idea, Songun politics and calling for reunification by federal formula, withdrawal of U.S. troops and abolition of the "Security Law" as an act of "spreading the advantages of the social system in the north and imparting the north's assertions to the public".

It also found fault with a slogan hung on a classroom wall, deliberately linking it with the DPRK.

The fabrication of another false case targeting the progressive organization of south Korea is aimed to raise the wind of confrontation with the fellow countrymen and thus quench the daily mounting spirit for reunification through alliance with the north and clamp down on pro-reunification movement organizations and civic and public bodies.

The recent case signals forthcoming wholesale crackdown on progressive forces which stand for democratization of society and reunification movement.

But with nothing can the puppet group quell the south Koreans' strong desire for reunification.
