Paper of Uruguay La Juventud on Feb. 7 carried articles accompanied with a portrait of Kim Jong Il and a photo of Kimjongilia.

The paper said in an article titled "Kim Jong Il, Leader of People" as follows:

The life of Kim Jong Il was a brilliant one devoted to the people's happiness, prosperity of socialist Korea and the cause of global independence.

Love for people was the core of Kim Jong Il's personality.

It was his view that a revolution was aimed to bring love for people into full bloom.

The wishes and interests of the people were the standard and starting point of all his thoughts and practice and their realization was regarded as the most important affair to be settled under any circumstances.

People's happiness was his greatest pleasure.

The February issue of German Paper Rote Fahne carried an article illustrated with a portrait of Kim Jong Il.

It said the untimely demise of Kim Jong Il, a great leader and revolutionary, meant a great loss for the cause of global independence.

He developed and enriched the Juche idea and the Songun idea.

The achievements made in the DPRK, including the successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2, are the precious fruition of the Songun politics pursued by him.

The Ethiopian paper Daily Monitor on Feb. 8 devoted its one whole page to articles praising his ideological and theoretical feats illustrated with his photo.
