The DPRK's successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 and the third underground nuclear test are praiseworthy events that fully demonstrated the might of Songun Korea under the leadership of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

They are the best gifts of the Korean people to Kim Jong Il, the sun of Songun.

The DPRK both in name and in reality ranked itself with dignity among nuclear weapons states and states of manufacturing and launching satellites.

This would be unthinkable apart from the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il, a great thinker and theoretician, outstanding strategist and benevolent father of people.

Than Tun, general director for Administrative Affairs of the Union of Myanmar Economic Holdings Limited, said in a statement on Feb. 15 that he looked back with deep emotion upon the career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of his birth anniversary (the Day of the Shining Star).

The statement went on:

Kim Jong Il steadily developed the Workers' Party of Korea, state and army, true to the idea and cause of President Kim Il Sung, and put the national capability of the DPRK on a high level.

He firmly defended socialist Korea from the imperialist allied forces' moves to stifle it and turned it into a powerful nation of single-hearted unity and a nuclear weapons state.

The cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will surely be accomplished thanks to Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people.
