Rodong Sinmun Monday says this in a bylined article.

It goes on:

The inter-Korean relations have become so tense that the Korean Peninsula is threatened with armed clash. This grave situation is an inevitable product of the moves of the Lee group of traitors to escalate the confrontation with compatriots.

The article cites facts to prove the crimes committed by the group during its five year-long office.

The achievements made in the inter-Korean relations since the publication of the June 15 joint declaration were possible thanks to the concerted efforts of all Koreans in the north and the south, it says, and goes on:

They pooled their efforts and wisdom to achieve reconciliation and unity in the idea of "By our nation itself." But, the Lee group steeped in the conception of confrontation to the marrow of its bone insisted that the north-south relations should be those of confrontation, not the ones guided by the idea of "By our nation itself" and the ones seeking reconciliation and unity.

Based on such anti-reunification conception, the Lee group has persistently pursued the policy of confrontation -- "no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars" -- and kept the door of the inter-Korean relations closed during its office, talking about the "adherence to principles" and "waiting strategy".

The group insisted that neither dialogue nor cooperation and exchange are possible unless such preconditions as "the north's dismantlement of its nukes before anything else" and "opening" seeking sinister purposes are met. This was the ulterior aim sought by Lee in bringing the inter-Korean relations to a collapse.

The group kicked off a frantic anti-DPRK campaign in collusion with outside forces, taking issue with its satellite launch for peaceful purposes and the third underground nuclear test.

The past five years of nightmare teaches a bitter lesson that the nation should never allow such inhuman scum as the Lee group to come to power again and play with the destiny of Koreans and that such group of traitors should be eliminated to the end from the very day of its emergence.

All Koreans will chase the Lee group on the way of going to its graves and force it to pay for all its hideous crimes committed against the inter-Korean relations.
