S. Korean Authorities' Attempt to Suppress Jongyojo under Fire

| Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- The south Korean "government" authorities disclosed their attempt to suppress Jongyojo (Teachers Union), according to south Korean KBS on Feb. 22. The Ministry of Employment and Labor forced Jongyojo to amend its rules, charging that they run counter to the law on teachers' union. The ministry threatened to take a measure of not recognizing the legal status of the organization in case it refuses to meet the demand. |
