It was attended by more than 4000 workers from across south Korea.

Speakers slammed the "government" authorities for having failed to settle the labour issue, including the situation at Hanjin Heavy Industries and Ssangyong Motors.

They declared they would continue staging large-scale actions till the demand of trade unions has been met.

At the end of the rally its participants staged a demonstration in protest against the authorities' unpopular rule.
