The workers, technicians and officials of the complex completed in a short span of time such a huge project as the construction of a gas-generator shop and a medium hi-temperature, air-combustion heating furnace for rolling.

The use of hi-temperature, air-combustion technology provided a foundation for massively producing the rolled steel by relying on the local supply of the fuel rich in the DPRK. It also brought about a big advance in making the country's metal industry more Juche-oriented and modern.

An inaugural ceremony was held on Monday.

Read out at the ceremony was a congratulatory message from the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to the workers, technicians and officials of the complex who rendered brilliant labor services in completing the project.

An inaugural address was followed by speeches.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round a general control room, the medium hi-temperature, air-combustion heating furnace for rolling, etc.
