Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- All Koreans should turn out in the just struggle to frustrate the persistent confrontation moves by the anti-reunification forces and achieve peace and reunification of the country, Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a bylined article. It is the steadfast will and stand of the army and people of the DPRK to continuously take stronger steps to cope with the hostile acts of the U.S. and its allied forces that defy the DPRK's warnings, the article says, and goes on: The reunification of the country is the most urgent and important task for the Korean nation. For nearly seven decades the Korean nation has suffered from separation. It is not because of lack of the nation's efforts for reunification. It is entirely attributable to the vicious anti-DPRK confrontation moves of the U.S., which has resorted to the criminal hostile policy towards the DPRK, and the south Korean traitorous ruling quarters who sold out the sovereignty and interests of the nation against the reconciliation and unity of the nation to please their master, the U.S. Now the situation of the Korean Peninsula is getting extremely acute owing to the brigandish anti-DPRK hostile acts of the U.S. and its allies violating the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK. The joint military exercises Key Resolve and Foal Eagle the U.S. and south Korea plan to stage are the culmination of the anti-DPRK confrontation campaign. It is impossible to defend the sovereignty of the country and security of the nation unless the confrontation campaign for a war by the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces is stopped. It is natural for the service personnel and people of the DPRK regarding the sovereignty and dignity of the country as more valuable than their lives to turn out in an all-out action to frustrate the reckless moves of the disgusting U.S. and south Korean warmongers. |
