At a training ground of the Kang Chol Gyu-led unit of KPISF, an officer, Wi Kwang Myong, told KCNA:

"The U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime are staging large-scale war exercises, calling the DPRK's successful nuclear test a big threat to them.

They assert that the DPRK should give up its nuclear weapons, while threatening it with thousands of nukes. Such gangster-like logic can never work on us.

We will further raise the hot wind of military training just as the anti-Japanese guerrillas did in Mt. Paektu, in hearty response to the strategic plan of the respected Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un and in keeping with the spirit of the enlarged meeting of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea."

Another officer Ko Yong Ho said:

"The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces are getting hell-bent on war exercises, crying out for "punishment" of the DPRK over its peaceful satellite launch and nuclear test.

A club is fit for a rabid dog.

If they dare pounce upon the DPRK, they will face death by merciless strikes of its powerful revolutionary Paektusan army."

A non-commissioned officer, Han Nam, said:

"We regard the country's sovereignty more valuable than our lives.

The enemies are dazed by the mettle of the DPRK, which has risen to be a full-fledged nuclear state and a satellite-launching state.

If they hurt the dignity of the DPRK even a bit, we will never miss this chance to achieve the cause of the national reunification by dint of military strength."
