Present at the events were figures of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification, the Portuguese Branch of the Korean Friendship Association and the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran and masses.

Juan Jose Leon Vega, first vice-chairman of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification, said that Kim Jong Il pursued Songun politics, firmly defending socialism and laying a solid foundation for achieving the prosperity of the country and improving the people's standard of living.

He wished the dear respected Kim Jong Un success in his work for achieving the prosperity of the DPRK, true to the behests of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The deputy general secretary of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran wished the friendly Korean people greater successes, adding that they are waging a dynamic struggle for building a thriving nation, single-mindedly united around the leader despite the imperialists' moves.
