Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- The servicepersons of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are enraged at the U.S. and its followers' persistent anti-DPRK policy, including planned war exercises. They have warned that the U.S. would only face self-destruction if it finally launch a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK, egging its followers on to the reckless anti-DPRK actions. Pak Ho Myong, an officer of the Strategic Rocket Force of the Korean People's Army, told KCNA: "The U.S. imperialists have accused the DPRK of its peaceful satellite launch and self-defensive nuclear test. And they are going to start 'Key Resolve' and 'Foal Eagle' joint military maneuvers on March 1, despite the strong protest of the DPRK and the world public. The DPRK already gave a warning to them that they would be doomed to death if they ignite a war of aggression while staging such maneuvers. The powerful revolutionary Paektusan army has already rounded off its preparedness for a decisive battle to destroy the U.S., den of aggressors, and bases of its followers at one stroke." Choe Su Gil, an officer of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force, said: "The enemies' call for preemptive attack on the DPRK is tantamount to digging their own graves. The world will soon witness what results those warmongers will meet. If the U.S. persistently seeks a nuclear war, oblivious of the bitter lesson taught by the Korean War in the 1950s, we will annihilate the aggressors with powerful nuclear weapons of Korean style." Han Nam Su, an officer of the KPA, said: "The army and people of the DPRK, rallied closer around respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, will lead the final showdown with the U.S. imperialists to victory and then build a most powerful and prosperous nation in the Korean Peninsula." |
