Lithuanian President Expresses Sympathy with DPRK's Efforts for Reunification

Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- I express sympathy with the stand of the DPRK that the issue of the country's reunification should be settled by the Korean people themselves free from foreign interference.

Dalia Grybauskaite, president of Lithuania, said this to Pak Kwang Chol, DPRK ambassador to Lithuania, on Feb. 22.

He continued:

I hope that the DPRK will achieve success in the work for the wellbeing of the people and the socio-economic development in the future, too.

I expect that the cooperative relations between the two countries will develop on good terms.

Pak presented his credentials to the president of the country that day.
