Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- A Peruvian political party and Slovak bodies released statements in support of the DPRK's successful satellite launch. The Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru in its statement on Feb. 23 said: The U.S. forced the UN Security Council to cook up a "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK in a bid to realize its military intervention in the DPRK just as it invaded Iraq and other countries. Governments, political parties and bodies of many countries around the world are rejecting such brazen-faced actions of the U.S. Progressive mankind knows well about the vicious moves of the U.S. imperialists to bring the DPRK to its knees and put the Korean Peninsula under its military occupation. The Party bitterly denounces the hypocritical moves of the U.S. government against the DPRK struggling for the defence of its sovereignty and peace and the building of a thriving nation. The Slovak Association for Supporting the Juche Idea and the Slovakia-Korea Friendship Association in a joint statement on Feb. 18 expressed the conviction that the DPRK's development of space for peaceful purposes does not counter any international law but is in line with the interests of all fair-minded people. |
