Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- Brazilian and French organizations and an international body posted on their websites special write-ups illustrated with a portrait of leader Kim Jong Il on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

The Brazilian Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK posted an article "The great leader Kim Jong Il and snow" accompanied with the pictures of his birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp and Kimjongilia on Feb. 12.

The article said that snow is the first thing which comes into one's mind when remembering the life of Kim Jong Il, chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, as he lived a pure life like snow.

It went on:

He made sure that the Korean people held President Kim Il Sung in high esteem as the sun of Juche and eternal president of the DPRK. There was nothing for Kim Jong Il himself during his life.

It gave a detailed account of the fact that he took warm care of all people and devoted himself to the Korean people and the world progressives.

Thanks to his self-sacrificing dedication socialism was defended in the DPRK and a new turning phase for building a thriving nation was opened there, it stressed, and went on:

The French Group for the Study of the Juche and Songun Idea in an article entitled "Leader Kim Jong Il and Songun politics" introduced the essence, justice and vitality of the Songun politics.

The Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain edited articles titled "Heritage of leader Kim Jong Il," "Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism" and "Songun Korea" under the caption "February 16, the Day of the Shining Star" illustrated with his pictures.
