Japan Accused of Its Evermore Undisguised Moves to Reinvade Korea: KCNA Commentary
|
|
Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries have gone evermore reckless in their moves to stage a comeback to Korea. On Feb. 22 a minister-level parliamentary official appeared at an annual event dubbed "Day of Takeshima" (Tok Islets in Korea) hosted by Shimane Prefecture and talked rubbish that the issue of Tok Islets is one related to the sovereignty of Japan. It is a very ill-boding development as Japan sent a government official to the event for the first time despite the Korean nation's protest and condemnation and openly expressed its intention to seize Tok Islets. It is an unpardonable action to further fascitize Japan by fanning up a hysteria for territorial expansion throughout society. Japan's ambition for reinvading Korea has already gone beyond the dangerous phase. No sooner had the Abe government emerged than Japan stepped the moves for turning the "Self-Defense Forces" into "a national defence army", a dangerous approach. It was reported that it would shape "defense spending" for this year to be an all-time high in 11 years. It has also stepped up the moves for giving the green light to exercising the right to collective self-defense which will make it possible to mount a preemptive attack on other countries. Under the pretext of coping with the non-existent missile threat from the DPRK, etc. Japan decided to deploy the U.S. mobile early warning radar X-band Radar in Kyoto Prefecture adjacent to the East Sea of Korea. The bellicose forces of Japan are mulling increasing the production of oxide powder mixed with plutonium and uranium by about 16.3 tons through the reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel. What remains to be done is to stir up zeal for aggression and genocide throughout the country. To this end, the Japanese authorities have resorted to the campaign for distorting the history while instilling ambition for aggression into the youngsters and other people in Japan, persistently raising "claim to Tok Islets". Japan's scenario to seize the islets little short of a prelude to reinvasion can never come true. If Japan opts for reinvasion in the end, oblivious of the lesson taught by history, all Koreans will force it to pay a thousand-fold dearer price for all sufferings and misfortune imposed by it upon them in the past. |
