Kim Jong Un Congratulates Laos President on His Birthday

Pyongyang, March 6 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, sent a congratulatory message to Choummaly Sayasone, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on Wednesday.

The message sent warm congratulations and comradely greetings to the Lao president on his 77th birthday.

It expressed pleasure over great advance the friendly Lao people have made in their efforts to implement the decision of the historic 9th Congress of the LPRP under the leadership of the LPRP headed by Choummaly Sayasone and heartily wished them further achievements.

Expressing the belief that the relations of friendship and cooperation forged between the two parties, states and peoples in the common struggle for socialism would grow stronger, Kim Jong Un wished Choummaly Sayasone good health, happiness and greater success in his responsible work.
