The statement clarified the important measures to be taken by the KPA Supreme Command against the joint military exercises of the U.S. and its allied forces.

Kim Chol Ryong, an officer of the KPA, told KCNA:

"I felt satisfied to hear the statement. It is likely that the day for a decisive war has come.

We, servicepersons, can give vent to grudge in the sacred war for national reunification.

Our diversified precision nuclear strikes and intensive artillery gunfire will wipe out all the aggressors. It is high time that the DPRK brought to its knees the U.S. intoxicated with 'successful wars' in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya."

Hwang Kun Sik, a member of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards in Kanggye City, Jagang Province, said:

It is a cherished desire of the DPRK people to settle accounts with the U.S. imperialists as early as possible and achieve national reunification.

Not content with laying hurdles to economic construction in our country, the U.S. is now attempting to swallow it up.

The DPRK can never allow such attempt. Its people have kept in their mind that they should fight another war against the U.S., and now is the time to do so.

Our country is sure to win in this showdown as it is led by respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, the iron-willed brilliant commander.
