Rodong Sinmun says: In response to the statement issued by the spokesman for the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army, all the services and arms of the heroic KPA are waiting for an order to make a final charge in their combat positions. All people, men and women, young and old, across the country are highly alerted to wage a life-and-death battle to annihilate the enemies.

The army and people of the DPRK will never remain a passive onlooker to the situation where the sovereignty and dignity of the nation are infringed upon and the supreme interests of the country threatened.

The statement solemnly declared that the KPA Supreme Command would take the second and third strong practical counteractions in succession to cope with the high-handed war acts of the U.S. and all other hostile forces.
