S. Korean Organizations Demand Stop to Dangerous War Maneuvers

Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- Civic and public organizations of south Korea including the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification and the Solidarity for Progress held a press conference in front of the U.S. embassy in Seoul on March 5 in protest against the dangerous war exercises of the U.S. imperialists and puppet warmongers against the north.

The organizations at the conference held that the frantic Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises are very dangerous war maneuvers aimed at "occupying" the north.

This saber-rattling is escalating the military tension on the Korean Peninsula, they charged.

Demanding an immediate halt to the war drills aimed at igniting a war on the peninsula, they called on the people from all walks of life to pool their efforts and stage actions for peace against war.
