Present there were officials of local party, armed forces and power organs and working people's organizations, service persons of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces (KPISF), officials and workers of industrial establishments and co-op farms and teachers and students of universities and colleges.

Speakers referred to the service persons and people's mounting hatred against the U.S. imperialists, the sworn enemy which cooked up additional "resolution on sanctions" and got hell-bent on the madcap war exercises with a large number of troops involved, not content with the hostile acts against the DPRK.

Given that the aggressors first made a provocation against the DPRK, its powerful Paektusan armed forces will never miss the golden opportunity which they have waited for more than 50 years and wipe out the aggressors at one go with a Korean-style war method, the speakers noted.

They underlined the need to preferentially provide everything needed for the final victory and get fully combat ready for coping with any unexpected situation.

They also called on everyone to frustrate the U.S. imperialistsand other hostile forces' reckless war moves and glorify this significant year that marks the 65th anniversary of the DPRK and the 60th anniversary of the victorious Fatherland Liberation War as a year of proud victory, rallied close around the Workers' Party of Korea.
