Rodong Sinmun Sunday says this in a bylined article.

The article goes on:

It is the U.S. imperialists' trite method of aggression to tighten sanctions and escalate the moves to stifle the DPRK militarily.

When the Korean people were dynamically hastening the rehabilitation and construction after winning a victory in the past Fatherland Liberation War, the U.S. imperialists kicked up a noisy war racket, claiming that the DPRK would not stand to its feet in 100 years. The Korean people, however, steadily advanced the revolution and construction, each holding a rifle in one hand and a hammer or sickle in the other, true to the Workers' Party of Korea's line of simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and defence upbuilding.

In the wake of the demise of the Cold War in the 1990s and the upsetting of balance of forces, the upbeat U.S. imperialists stepped up the sanctions and blockade campaign against the DPRK, fortress of socialism.

But, the enemies were utterly ignorant of the Korean people.

It was the revolutionary will of the Korean people that they could never abandon their faith even though they might collapse because of hunger.

The imperialists are foolish enough to calculate that the Korean people would yield to their sanctions.

The DPRK will neither recognize all the "resolutions on sanctions" unjustly adopted at the UN Security Council nor make any switchover in its option.

The U.S. imperialists and their followers had better stop their rash acts. The army and people of the DPRK will never allow them to infringe upon its right to satellite launch for peaceful purposes and sovereignty.

They will show the U.S. imperialists what a real war is like and surely achieve a final victory.
