The statement said:

The joint military exercises Key Resolve and Foal Eagle kicked off by the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces are aimed at preempting a nuclear attack on the DPRK.

In the light of their scale and form the on-going military exercises can never be regarded as "defensive" ones.

The war hardware involved in them are enough to betray their aggressive and dangerous nature.

The fact clearly proves that those joint military exercises are intended to train the U.S. forces to bring down socialist Korea and occupy the whole of Korea in the end.

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces are staging war maneuvers, terming the DPRK's satellite launch for peaceful purposes and 3rd nuclear test for self-defence "provocations" and "threat". The UNSC, however, is neither taking issue with this potential threat to the world peace nor referring to any sanction over it.

It is the height of hypocrisy and deception.

We demand an immediate stop to the military exercises for aggression and urge the UNSC to lift all its "sanctions" against the DPRK at once.
