Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- Anti-U.S. sentiments are running higher in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea as the U.S. revealed its scheme to stifle it through the joint military exercises Key Resolve and Foal Eagle. Under the grave situation caused by the U.S. imperialists and their allied forces, civilians of the DPRK as well as servicepersons have gone into full readiness for action, only to wait for an order of declaration of war. Seen in streets across the country are people in combat uniforms and vehicles clad with camouflage nets. Ji Yong Nam, a section chief at the North Hamgyong Provincial People's Hospital, told KCNA: "The hospital has pressed ahead with preparations for wartime medical treatment. It is so hateful that the country's peaceful development has been faced with challenges by the U.S. imperialists' war provocation moves. Their war drills should be countered with a sacred war of retaliation." Paek Kwang Ho, a work-team head of the Pyongyang Electric Cable Factory 326, said: "I was so surprised at the news that Supreme Commander Marshal Kim Jong Un inspected again the Jangjae Islet Defence Detachment and Mu Islet Heroic Defence Detachment, located in the biggest hotspot in the southernmost part of the southwestern area of the front. As a discharged soldier, I'll join a frontline military unit to fight the provokers in the van, once an order is given by the Supreme Commander." |
