Minju Joson Assails Japan's Move to Grab Tok Islets

Pyongyang, March 12 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, Japanese foreign minister Kishida again claimed Japan's "dominium over Tok Islets". Minju Joson Tuesday in a bylined commentary denounces this as a wanton violation of the Korean nation's sovereignty and an unpardonable politically-motivated provocation. The commentary goes on: From the ancient times, Tok Islets have been part of an inalienable territory of Korea, as confirmed by lots of historical facts based on geographical and legal reasons. This admits of no argument. Nevertheless, the Japanese foreign minister brazen-facedly claimed "dominium over Tok Islets", making the "issue of Tok Islets" a subject of debate and calling for "settling" it. This is nothing but a gangster-like act of claiming other's thing as his own. The Japanese foreign minister's outbursts about Tok Islets made in succession from the last year to this year can not be merely viewed as personal remarks. What matters is that Japan's move to seize the islets has become evermore undisguised and realistic. The Japanese reactionaries are fanning up a hot-wind of militarism throughout the society of Japan more zealously than any time before, getting frantic in their move to grab Tok Islets. Lurking behind this is their sinister scheme to make the islets an excuse and a springboard for reinvasion. But their ambition to seize the islets is a wild dream that can never come true. Should they set their black feet of invasion even an inch on the territory of Korea, bereft of reason, the army and people of the DPRK will give full vent to their pent-up grudge and wipe them out to the last man. |
