The statement bitterly condemned in the name of the fellow countrymen the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises which the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers stage every year under the pretext of "annual and defensive ones".

The U.S. should know that the statement issued by a spokesman for the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army on March 5 will never be an empty word but a final decision and determination of the DPRK which it restrained for 60 years, the statement stressed.

All the fellow countrymen in the north and the south and abroad are always remembering the horrible crimes committed by the U.S. in the Korean war, and the world has clearly seen for whom and for what the U.S. fights a war through its war of aggression against Iraq, it noted.

It branded the U.S. as the root cause and chief culprit of all evils.

The U.S. must be well aware of the fate it will face in case the joint military exercises spill over into an irrevocable war, the statement said.
