Military Threat, Blackmail Will Not Work on DPRK: Chongryon

Pyongyang, March 12 (KCNA) -- Officials of the organizations of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) issued statements on March 11 as regards the nuclear war racket of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet warmongers that has reached an extreme phase. Ri Jong Man, managing director of the Standing Council of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan, said any military threat and blackmail will not work on the Korean people who have defended the sovereignty of the country standing against the U.S. imperialists for over half a century. He urged the U.S. and its followers to stop at once the reckless and foolish moves for a nuclear war. Kim Cha Dol, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, noted the struggle of the people in the homeland to put an end to the moves of the hostile forces for isolating and stifling the DPRK is sure to win. Kang Chu Ryon, chairwoman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Democratic Women's Union in Japan, condemned the U.S. as the thrice-cursed sworn enemy of the Korean nation, saying that no force on earth can match the Korean people and the DPRK, which are full of conviction of victory, and single-mindedly united around their leader. Ho Yong Ho, chairman of the Central Standing Management Board of the Korean Youth Commercial Association in Japan, expressed the will to always go about their patriotic work to usher in a new heyday of Chongryon full of the conviction that a final victory is in store for the DPRK in the all-out action to defend its sovereignty. Ri Tong Je, chairman of the Association of Koreans in Japan for Peaceful Reunification, said the touch-and-go situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula is attributable to the U.S. and its followers. Pak Tong Ho, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Korean Students in Japan, underscored the need to dynamically turn out in the struggle for frustrating the reckless nuclear war maneuvers of the U.S. and south Korean puppet warmongers. |
