Vishwanath, director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea who doubles as secretary general of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council and the International Kim Jong Il Prize Council, said this in a statement on March 5 in support of the statement issued by a spokesman for the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army (KPA).

He accused the U.S. and its followers of fabricating a "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK over its legitimate satellite launch and staging joint military exercises in south Korea with huge forces involved.

The statement issued by a spokesman for the Supreme Command of the KPA to cope with the grave situation prevailing in Korea is an expression of the just stand for defending the dignity and sovereignty of the country, he noted, and went on:

The U.S. had better behave itself, well aware that the army and people of the DPRK never make an empty talk.

It should stop the provocative war maneuvers for aggression at once and withdraw its aggressor troops from south Korea, bearing in mind that its hostile moves against the DPRK will never help settle anything.

If the U.S. persists in the war rackets against the DPRK, it will face stronger retaliatory blows from the army and people of the DPRK who regard their sovereignty as their life and soul.
