At the meeting, the speakers recalled that after Lee came to power the number of those who were arrested on charges of violation of the "Security Law" increased every year and crackdown continued in the whole period of his office.

The invocation of the SL was so deliberate during his five-year office that it was applied to every case, they said, adding that's why international organizations recommended the repeal of the law.

The organization in a resolution vowed to stage actions for the repeal of the SL and other evil laws against human rights and the release of all prisoners of conscience.
